EcoMom is a new site (formerly SproutBaby.com) that offers eco-friendly baby products, and was founded to address the connection between the health of our environment and the health of our children. Yet it’s more than an online store, EcoMom is an online community committed to making eco-conscious living easy, affordable, and rewarding. Their vision is to help women begin to take better care of themselves and their families with education, support, tools and products – EcoMom empowers them to take the all important first steps toward a healthier, more balanced, and sustainable lifestyle.
When it comes to shopping though, EcoMom has a great selection including diapers, personal care for the whole family, toys, food, books, and even home care. Plus they have a great program called EcoPass, which allows customers to purchase an annual membership for $99, which will get you 15% off every order and FREE shipping with no $75 minimum purchase required for members!
EcoMom asked if I would like to test out a new line of organic baby food they are carrying from Plum Organics and Revolution Foods. The great thing about Plum Organics and Revolution Foods is that they offer a wide range of products that have your baby covered from high chair to lunch box! I received a few samples of Plum Organics for my son (who is 7 ½ months old).
I immediately liked the packaging of Plum Organics because it is easy to open, easy to dispense, and easy to seal back up and store if you don’t use the entire portion. It was mess free, well at least until I started feeding my son.
I always taste everything I give my son and I really liked the taste of Plum Organics so I knew he would too. The first food I tried was the spinach, peas & pear combo. Usually it’s a struggle to get him to focus on a meal and open his mouth, yet he must have loved the spinach, peas & pears because he gobbled it up quickly and looked at me as if to ask “what’s next?” The next day we tested the just mango baby food and he also loved it! So far he has liked everything we’ve tried, especially the pumpkin & banana combo (my favorite too)!
