$5 a Day Challenge: January Results

I finished tallying the results from the first month of my $5 a Day Challenge! There is good news and bad news... The bad news is that I did not make $5 every day in January, I came very close though. The good news is that I saved a lot more than my $30 a week goal! On top of this, I got over $50 worth of free product from samples, giveaways, and product testing! Here's the results:

EARNINGS: $145.53
Selling online (Amazon, Cash4books, and Craigslist) - $61.68
Swagbucks - $15
Pinecone Research - $6
Opinion Outpost - $7

Mindfield  - $5
MySurvey - $2.25

TOTAL SAVINGS: $503.88
Groceries- $74
Rite Aid- $255.32
Target -  $34.14
Rebates - $45.92
Other - $94.50

*Note: I include rebates under savings but only count them in the month that I actually receive the check, so for example Rite Aid rebates from January will be counted in February when I get my check in the mail

FREE PRODUCT: $53 (estimate)
Samples - Earth's Best diaper, Lubriderm 3oz lotion
Giveaways - So Easy Baby Food making kit (I won from Familylicious Reviews)
